• Ability to do layout, make cutlist, cut and assemble parts.

• The ability to read and understand shop drawings and blueprints.

• Reliable vehicle.
• Forty hour work week.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work on a consistent basis, including lifting 100 pounds.
• Colorado driver’s license and good driving record.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Read and interpret paperwork, including all shop drawings and blueprints, specifications for hardware and appliances.
• Layout cabinets, prepare cutlist , cut required parts and assemble.
• Build both Euro and Faceframe style of cabinets.
• Install cabinets.
• Install interior trim, base, casing, crown molding, etc. with superior craftsmanship.
• Maintain a clean and safe shop.
• Follow all Parrish Construction quality standards.
• Ensure shop safety.
• Complete Parrish forms and logs as required.
• Miscellaneous other duties as required

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Read and interpret paperwork, including all plans, specifications, purchase orders, subcontractor work orders, and cost updates
• Able to layout and install stud framing
Layout and install stairs
Layout and install concrete footing and flatwork forms
• Use a transit to establish proper grades and elevations
Install doors, windows, and cabinets
Install drywall
• General knowledge of residential mechanical systems
Install interior trim, base, casing, crown molding, etc. with superior craftsmanship
• Maintain a clean and safe job-site
• Follow all Parrish Construction Quality Standards
• Miscellaneous other duties as required.

OBJECTIVE

1. Perform carpentry at the highest level as required

• Supervise laborers, apprentice carpenters, carpenters, and subcontractors, including participating in performance reviews. Make work assignments, monitor quality, and motivate crew. Must command respect of the work crew
• Expedite timely completion of the work to maintain schedule and budget goals
• Ensure jobsite safety, protection and maintenance of company tools, and enforce all jobsite rules
• Maintain regular client contact for duration of projects and assist with requested cost updates
• Train carpenters and apprentice carpenters

POSITION REOUIREMENTS

• Must meet and exceed all Parrish carpenter requirements (see below).
• Minimum six years Carpenter experience
• Good communication, job coordination, and supervisory skills
• Extensive rough and finish carpentry skills including roof cut-ins, and superior knowledge of construction methods and techniques
• Must have a good working knowledge of related building trades
• The ability to interact and communicate well with your crew, subcontractors, and the client
• Must be available for extended work hours as required
• Reliable work vehicle
• Ability to perform physically demanding work on a consistent basis, including lifting 100 pounds
• Colorado driver’s license and good driving record

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Read and interpret paperwork, including all plans and specifications, purchase orders, subcontractor work orders, and cost updates.
• Bring questions, discrepancies, and unusual conditions to the attention of the Production Manager (or designee) via verbal and written reports
• Understand the scope of the work and discuss all requests for additional work with the Production Manager.
• Understand and assist with the cost update procedure
• Participate in a pre-construction conference and jobsite inspections
• Maintain the Parrish Construction field file, including daily job log and rolling punchlist
• Request help as required, anticipating the need for additional carpenters so that they can be scheduled in a timely fashion
• You are responsible for reporting late subcontractors, discipline problems, problems with schedules, and for keeping the Production Manager informed of job status
• Order materials and coordinate subcontractors.
• You must plan ahead for timely material delivery and subcontractor start dates.
• Responsible for end-of-day procedures, such as clean-up, weather protection and security.
• Must notify Clients in advance of utility service interruption.
• Provide for job safety for both the clients, subcontractors, and our employees.
• Inspect all equipment for proper safety features and correct any unsafe conditions
• Follow all Parrish Construction Quality Control Check Lists
• Maintain discipline of employees and subcontractors on the job
• Responsible for all company tools on your job
