Specialty additions

We handled a full renovation on this house from the basement to the top story, consisting of a two-story addition on the back of the house. This addition features a study off the master bedroom and a conservatory below. Built-ins include a cherry bookcase, desk and window seat.

The goal was to integrate the new space into the existing home in order to maintain the flavor of it's 1900 architecture.

Here is the just completed addition wth a redwood deck.

This is a view of the study, just off the master bedroom on the second floor.

Also in the study, notice the double-hung windows. They are completely modern with
insulated glass, but they are true to the style of the period.

Here is a view of the conservatory on the first floor. Notice the window seat. Not only do
they provide a good place to sit and look at the backyard, they provide excellent hidden storage.

Other projects for this client included remodeling the kitchen, creating a new master bathroom featuring a claw foot tub, adding a new fireplace in the living room and refinishing the existing wood floors throughout the home.
