Specialty additions

Over a five year period Parrish Construction Co. completed three remodel projects on this home. The latest is featured here.

A unique glass bridge connects this addition to the main house. The bridge sits atop a giant two-story greenhouse with windows all around it. The large picturesque windows overlook the pool and the mountain vista beyond. Special detailing in the addition include a series of custom forged steel tension rods which hold the room together and ash paneling on the ceiling which comes from the client's lumber mill.

Here is a view of the great room. All the custom cabinetry was made in our cabinet shop.

Here is a closeup of the entertainment center in great room. The speakers are behind the top row of doors and the rest of the equipment is neatly hidden from view when not in use.

Other projects for this client included remodeling the kitchen, creating a new master bathroom featuring a claw foot tub, adding a new fireplace in the living room and refinishing the existing wood floors throughout the home.
