Bathroom remodel

In this home we have completed three remodel projects - the last one was the master bath and closet.

The bathroom features a whirlpool bathtub adjacent to the fireplace. We added a steam shower and lots of natural light.

The master closet is filled with custom cabinetry. All of the drawers have transparent faces to see the contents in each. The client requested a three way dressing mirror much like those seen in department stores. There is ample above cabinet storage area, expansive shoe storage and plenty of off season clothing storage. We also included a suitcase packing shelf, and an ironing center.

This before view shows how dark and closed-in the bathroom looked.

The light and open feeling was created by removing the existing ceiling all
the way to the roof, then installing gable windows and skylights. The wall
to an unused bedroom was removed to create this large inviting space.
